John Anderson Jr.

He was born June 26, 1957, in Norway, the son of the late Jack and Otha Anderson Sr.

John graduated from Norway High School in 1976.

He married Linda Ann Waeghe on May 15, 1998, in Iron Mountain.

John worked construction for several years before working at Khoury Furniture until they closed.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to camp and playing cards with his friends. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, John (Samantha) Anderson III of Felch and Charles (Audrey) Lenz of Iron River; daughters, Carrie Lenz and Maegan Whitehead, both of Norway; eight grandchildren; sisters, Johanna (Grant) Litts of Norway and Edie (Gary) Gillissie of Grand Haven; several nieces and nephews.

Family will have a celebration of John’s life on May 19 from noon to 4 p.m. at Mister Mom’s in Norway.

Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.
